Hi friends, you must remember my NOT-SO-EXCITING experience with Freshlook color blends in Amethyst color. Those of you, who have not read that post, let me tell you that I wear specs/contacts because of my poor eyesight. 🙁

Until last year, I never experimented with any colored contacts. But then last year I bought Freshlook color blends in amethyst color, as it is very rare, and I wanted to have a sort of unique look (Actually I read it somewhere that Elizabeth Taylor had natural violet eyes. So I just went crazy after that to have purple eyes myself too). 🙂 But, sadly that color did nothing for my eyes, as it was hardly noticeable on my dark-brown eyes.

So, now this year, I gathered up my courage again and bought a new pair of contacts in Gemstone Green from the same company. And I can’t describe you how happy I am. This color is totally rocking. It looks gorgeous on my eyes. And now I can give seductive looks quite easily 😉 (read bewitching, scary and sort of unnatural..lol..). And now guess, what is the best part??? I got them in just 750 rupees this time. I am sooo much in love with my new eyes now that I did some special makeup to get a feel of Disney princess/Scarlett O’ Hara/Cleopatra/Queen of Sheeba kinda evergreen beauties. 😀

Yes, yes I know, none of them was this much fatso. Ahhh… how I wish that there should have been at least one such legendry queen with REAL chubby cheeks. 😉 Anyway, the final verdict is that these lenses are super-cool and if anybody wanna have a new look (in much cheaper and sort of temporary way), I will give these lenses a thumbs-up for sure.

Whenever anybody asks me that, whether they should color their hair, get a nose-ring or buy colored lenses; to have a new look. Almost always I end up by saying “Go for the colored lenses”. In my opinion, this is one of the most flexible and stylish options to have a New Look, as you can always UNDO it in case if you don’t like it. It is much cheaper way to bring noticeable change in your appearance, as they cost just 750/- (they are even cheaper when prescription number is not needed). So, guys what is your opinion… Go green or Not envy with green? 😀

P.S. And sorry about my obsession with royalty… After all, I am a Leo! 😉
