Loreal Hydrafresh Deep Boosting Essence (Product Review)

Few weeks back I started having few dry patches on my chin as well on the tip of my nose, yes..yes..I know.. FIRST SIGNS OF AGING!!!! And Oh MY Goshhh.. that made me react like a possessed person and from that moment onward started my maniac research on internet about everything related to skin aging, elasticity, anti-aging creams, serums, essence and what not! I believe I have become kinda pro in this field now. 😉

Well one of the most important things which we all know, but neglect nonetheless is the fact to have proper water balance in body. Water is good for body.. no doubt! But, it is also good for skin.. yes, yes we know.. all celebrities say that. What big deal? But, apart from drinking, you can also use it directly onto your face from time to time to restore its radiance and increase skin’s elasticity… what!!!! Now, that just woke me up. To begin with, I am not even able to drink the usual 8 glasses of water per day. So, feeding it directly to my skin sounded really amazing. 😉

While surfing through various online shopping sites, I came across this product and the claims which it made were just soo unreal to be true.. I mean after all it is just “PURE MINERAL SPA WATER”. But, then it was not very expensive and on top of that… just add few claims like “intense and long- lasting moisturizing, boosts skin’s moisture- lock ability, fights against external aggression” and I am SOLD. Well you already know what happened next. I didn’t just order this essence alone, but yes I went ahead and ordered their face wash from the same range too. (Review of that would be coming soon.)

So, coming back to this essence.. it comes in very nice looking packaging. Bottle is made of good quality plastic and it has got shiny pump dispenser. It is green in color which goes really well with all that Hydra/water theme going on. It smells heaven.. literally. I am loving its fragrance to bits. Though I am not sure that a serum/essence should have such strong fragrance. But, in any case it is fresh, crisp and reminds you of waterfall instantly. I am loving it and fragrance of it has not stopped me from using it on my eyelids. I am using it on my eyes, face and neck down until my collarbone; and about two and half pump are enough for this much application.

Well, so let’s talk about claims. Just 3 days after using it, dry patches were gone. My skin started looking more plumper and I myself overall was liking it a lot. But, then I had promised my sister that I will only believe in its claims when my hubby would notice any difference in me. (He notices each and every kinda minutest change in me very easily. And sometimes he is even better observer than me.) So, I told my sis that I would only make this product my all time favorite if Kevin would comment upon it without me telling him anything about it. And boy, did he comment!!

On day 3rd he said, “You skin is looking so plumpy and fresh, looks like you finally managed to have proper rest last night”. I was like super happy, but then I thought to wait for some more days before writing about that here.

So, on day 5th while stepping out for work, when he kissed on my cheeks he said again, “How are your cheeks getting so firm? Are you using something?” And then I spilled the beans as I just could not control my excitement. You got the drift??

In a nutshell, I am loving this product. In my opinion, it is true to its claims. It has become my HG product. I have been using it for more than 10-15 days and now my skin looks more fresh, dry patches are gone and it feels better upon touch. I am having combination plus sensitive skin, so finding any good skin care product for me is a big challenge. I have added some other anti-aging skin products in my routine too. I would share about them soon.
