Eye of the Day! (My first EOTD)

Hi girls, this is the first time that I am posting any photograph of my makeup attempts. πŸ™‚ To start, let’s go back few years. πŸ˜‰ I was during my Ph.D (well to be precise: in boring, lazy, carefree, owl lifestyle phase). And then suddenly one day I read about Cleopatra in some astrology book and I was like OHH MY GOSH!!! I wanna know each and every detail about that girl.

And then off I went running down to my system and I typed “Cleopatra + wikipedia” on my google homepage. Then opened another tab, typed “Cleopatra + sun sign”; then opened another tab and typed “Cleopatra + makeup”; then opened another tab and typed “Cleopatra + movie”. And yes, I kept on opening more and more tabs. Watched her movie, checked almost close to a hundred of youtube videos on her makeup, and tried to justify my wishful thinking of her being a LEO. I so badly wanted her to be a leo that I searched like a possessed person on astrology sites.

Eye of the Day! (My first EOTD)

Well, the list is really long. So, let’s cut the details and come down to it’s climax… well, she made such an impact upon my mind that no other female can match up to that. And Yes, I started loving Elizabeth Taylor too. πŸ˜€

Hmmm.. coming down to present.. So, I was feeling really pathetic one day. It was in May this year, I guess I was going through post-marital depression. And then just to cheer me up, I decided to play with my makeup stuff. Well this EOTD is not similar to what Elizabeth Taylor wore in the movie. Rather it is my own adaptation which is in some strange way inspired from Arabic makeup too. (I don’t know why but I love Arabic eye makeup much more than typical Indian/Asian eye makeup.)

It is Arabic, Cleopatra, Cat eye all thrown together in one look.. (lol.. if that makes sense!) I went crazy after doing that, and kept clicking my photographs for hours. πŸ˜€ I myself really liked it a lot, although it is not really wearable for even parties in my case. I wear very less/natural makeup even on special occasions. But any how, I hope some of you would like it. And I am not having any good quality pic, because I clicked all of them with my cell phone camera. πŸ™‚

So girls, how’s it. Would love to have your views through comments. Take care and stay beautiful!! πŸ™‚
